Crossens residents furious over spray paint vandals

Furious Crossens residents woke up this morning to find that their cars had been spray painted by a mystery artist.

Worse still ten of the cars on Pool Street in Crossens had windows smashed in and some reported that items had been taken from their cars.

At least twenty cars were spray painted with ‘tags’ while ten were reported as being broken into.

Police are currently on scene (Monday 14 August) and fear they will have to take all day on the street as they need to record twenty individual statements.

At this time it’s not thought that anyone was disturbed by the assailant, who operated under cover of darkness to seemingly get away with the double header crime.
