Crosby High School’s fundraising for a minibus suitable for wheelchairs

At Crosby High we aim to do our best to ensure every pupil Learns, Enjoys, Achieves and Progresses together as a team.

Meet Mr Kyle Parr! This young man’s determination and positive outlook is an inspiration to everyone here at Crosby high and it is for pupils like Kyle who we are fighting for.

Kyle is an extremely sociable pupil who always has time for others, his sense of humour is second to none but unfortunately he is unable to travel with his fellow pupils on our school minibus as he uses a wheelchair we do not yet have a minibus which is adapted for wheelchairs. Currently, Kyle must travel in an adapted taxi with stuffy old Mr Lewis. Our aim is to raise money to enable Kyle and other pupils to have the full social experience of school trips and outings with his friends.

To do this, two very brave members of staff will be carrying the combined weight of Kyle and his Wheelchair (45lbs each!) up to the tippety top of Mt. Snowdon in order to raise awareness for the difficulty in travelling that pupils who rely on wheelchairs face every day.

We hope you will show your support for our cause.
