Each year Klondyke & Strikes choose a group charity, and this year they are supporting Greenfingers Charity.
Greenfingers support children and families by creating magical gardens at children’s hospices throughout the UK. Their local garden is Zoe’s Place in Liverpool.
The Horticultural manager of Lady Green Garden Centre, Craig Price, said:
“Here at Lady Green we wanted to try new fundraising ideas, and like all good things someone in the local pub said they were doing a skydive and why didn’t I. Two days later it was all booked, and my fundraising began. If by making one child smile by the money raised, I know I have achieved what I set out to do.”
Craig added: “Weather permitting on the 31st of August I shall be jumping out of a perfectly good plane at 15,000 feet.”
