County Financial Services move to new premises in Hoghton Street, Southport

5th January 2016

The team are all Southport residents, led by Paul Gilchrist(left).

These new premises give our clients easier access than ever from a prime central location in Southport. Providing mortgages, life insurance, sickness insurance, private health & critical illness cover.

County Financial Services, part of The County Group (www.countyins.com), are a leading provider of financial services products such as mortgages, life insurance and sickness cover.

As part of The County Group, one of the largest general insurance brokers in the North West and with annual premiums in excess of £50m, the further exciting news is that the full suite of personal and business insurance can also be arranged from the new premises in Hoghton Street, Southport.

So products such as car insurance, house insurance and commercial insurance such as public liability & employers’ liability are all available at very competitive rates as part of The County Group but with the personal service you’d expect from your local broker.

This makes the new premises a one stop shop for both your insurance and financial services requirements, with all your important policies under one roof and looked after locally.

The local Southport team

Paul Gilchrist has been running County Financial Services for over 3 years now from the County Insurance offices in Princes Street, Southport. However the need to expand with Paul’s additional staff has seen the opening of brand new premises in Hoghton Street.

Paul is supported by Peter Mangham-Jones and Linzi Walsh who are also local lifelong Southport residents so know the local market inside out.

“I’m delighted we now have new premises in what is the next step in our exciting journey. We are right in the heart of the financial district of Southport with all the banks, building societies and estate agents. However this is right in the heart of Southport too”.

“So we ideally positioned for our clients to visit us at their convenience and we have our tea and coffee machine at the ready for visitors! Of course, people can call or email us too but we do find that our customers do value the face-to-face service when arranging their protection policies. Not only as it more personal, but is also allows us to look at the full range of providers and also try different levels of cover too, so a more informed decision can be made.”

“I have a great team here and we are pretty well known in the area. That is why we wanted a more visible branch for our expanding team, getting our brand out to more people and making us more assessable than ever.”

“We have always been able to do general insurance too. We are part of a Top 50 UK broker. I feel our branch in Hoghton street will also us to shout about this a lot more so people realise we can assist and save them money on their car, home or business insurance policies”.

This is a real string to our bow and we are really excited about 2016 and beyond.”

Tim Crighton, Director of The County Group, comments:

“Paul has done a fantastic job in the three years he has been running County Financial Services and has recruited some top people such as Peter and Linzi into the business. I know he has a few more people joining too, some great quality people, who build excellent and trusted relationships with both new and existing customers.

The new branch looks great and hopefully welcoming! It is ideally positioned in central Southport and we look forward to welcoming both new and old customers alike.”
