Councillor David Barton: “Today I joined council officers on a site visit and it would appear there have been blockages in the drains which have led to the build up of water.
The officers think these blockages have been caused by a build up of soil and leaves and work is underway to clear them.
We hope this will alleviate the problem for the foreseeable future. I would like to thank the residents for bringing this to my attention and the council officers for their swift response.”
