Council contractors cock up using 8 year old google map to work

No parking lines have been painted in parking bays on Portland street leading to confused drivers not knowing where to go.

Contractors told an undercover OTS News reporter that they’re just painting lines in the same places from an 8 year old Google Map rather than current plans.

8 years ago a no parking restriction was painted outside a driveway which no longer exists.

One driver said “I don’t know what they’re doing but they’re not thinking anything through they’re just working from google street view which is ridiculous”
