Coronavirus: Southport resident Sir Kenny Dalglish tests positive for COVID-19 in hospital

Sir Kenny Dalglish has tested positive for coronavirus in hospital, his family have said.

The 69-year-old was admitted to hospital on Wednesday for a “treatment of an infection which required intravenous antibiotics”.

He subsequently tested positive for coronavirus but “remains asymptomatic”.
