Police have closed off part of the coast road after a car smash in Ainsdale, Friday 18 October 2019.
Officers have closed off the stretch of coastal road between Pontins and Liverpool Road following a serious collision involving multiple vehicles.
Emergency services remain on scene and are asking motorists to avoid the area, local diversions are in place.
