Norwood’s Cllr Marianne Welsh was recently the guest speaker at Churchtown Heritage Association where she gave a talk about her former career as an actress and also spoke about becoming a councillor in Southport and what being a councillor entailed. The audience was delighted with her talk and afterwards there was a splendid buffet where Marianne answered questions from members about her time in the theatre and also about her role as a busy councillor in the community.
