Cllr David Barton said: “As soon as this was brought to my attention I contacted the relevant department immediately.
“I am pleased to say the bins will be emptied today and I have sought assurances that bins will be emptied on the correct day from now on.
“If any residents have issues with wastes collection I am always happy to help.”
