Cigarettes stolen in Leyland theft 

Do you recognise this man? Police are appealing for information after a theft in Leyland.

Around 8.20pm on March 3, a man entered the Co-op store in Dunkirk Lane.

He leaned over the shop counter and took a plastic bag containing cigarettes valued at £100.

He then left the shop in the direction of Moss Side Community Centre.

The man is described as slim, wearing a green hooded top with camouflage pants.

Police would like to speak to this man, pictured, in connection with the incident.

Sgt Mark Douglas, of Leyland Police, said: “We are appealing for information after cigarettes were stolen from a shop in Leyland.

“We are keen to trace this man and would ask anyone who recognises him to contact police immediately.”
