Churchtown residents told to stay alert over burglary fears

By On The Spot News28th October 2024

Residents in Churchtown have been told to stay alert after a man was seen acting suspiciously in residential gardens in the early hours of the morning.

Homeowners in the Larkfield Lane and Glamis Drive area of the village have been told to check their properties are secured after a man was chased off from back gardens in the early hours of Monday morning.

The suspicious male was seen with a torch trespassing on private property.

When confronted he reportedly ran away from the scene.

Now neighbouring houses are being told to make sure their properties are secure and locked up overnight.

Anyone who sees suspicious behaviour or individuals trespassing on private property should call 101.
