Churchtown prepares for annual historic fete

The annual annual Churchtown Garden Fete will be held on Saturday, July 14.

It will be the 71st time the free family-friendly event has been held in the village and will feature a grand raffle, afternoon teas, stalls, games and the Rose Queen Festival at Churchtown Village Church
on Botanic Road.

David Link, one of the organisers, said: “There will be a procession around the village starting from church at 1:30pm, returning for the crowning ceremony in the church at 2pm.
