Churchtown Gin is coming on 12th April just in time for Easter.
Following the sale of its 164th bottle since Unique Gin was launched on 24th Dec 2016 and the successful launch of Birkdale Gin and the Tea Rooms Gin, Birkdale Craft Distillery is pleased to team up with the Remedy Bar to launch Churchtown’s own Gin.
Following the tasting competition that worked so well for the previous gin launches, Damian Bond will prepare 5 different blends of Gin, which will be tasted and scored for a range of qualities. The highest scoring and most liked gin blend will become Churchtown Gin. The first bottle will be auctioned and the proceeds along with contributions will be donated to Parkinson’s UK.
The Remedy Bar in Churchtown will host the tasting event and is looking for 25 volunteers to help choose Churchtown Gin. If you are interested please e-mail Sarah or Susannah on info@remedysouthport.co.uk
Be quick – on past experience, the number of volunteers greatly exceeds number of spaces and in the interest of fairness we may have to resort to pulling names out of hats.
Remedy Bar has a well-deserved reputation as the premier Gin bar in the region, being at the fore-front of the gin craze that has swept through the area. They were the obvious choice to work with Damian for this launch event.
