Year 7 pupils who have been attending Christ The King have been told they must isolate for a week.

Parents who class as key workers and have had children in the school received an email yesterday (31 January.)

“We are sending you an email with instructions for your Year 7 child who has been in close contact with a positive case of Covid.

“Your child must self-isolate up to and including Sunday 7 February.”

Schools will not fully reopen until at least 8 March but children of key workers have been permitted.

The Prime Minister also told the House of Commons he would not guarantee that schools reopening would happen before the Easter holidays, due to begin before Good Friday on 2 April.
