Worried residents have called the police after children and teenagers were spotted playing in the park.
A group of teens flouting the social distancing rules enforced due to the Coronavirus pandemic were spotted on Meols Cop field riding bikes and playing football late this afternoon, Friday 27 March 2020.
Police were called by worried neighbours on Scarisbrick New Road who said that the sunny weather had brought out a number of people to the park despite fears they could spread the killer Coronavirus.
It’s not known if police were able to attend.
