This terrible news comes only weeks after Charlie had his feet burnt by chemicals on a walk to the park by KGV.

Sefton Council have denied any chemicals that could have caused harm to Charlie.

Tracy thanked the Facebook group ‘Southport lost and found‘ as the group was a wonderful support to her and helped her deal with the Council etc…

Tracey said: “I have some sad news, my beautiful boy passed Sunday evening 6th September. We  don’t know why but he was having breathing difficulties and the vets couldn’t work out why.

“Sadly he passed away at the vets after being rushed in as an emergency. My by beautiful boy has left a huge hole in my heart, I am totally devoted he was only 7 and still had so much love to give… run free my beautiful boy rainbow bridge has another ..!”
