CCTV appeal following Birkdale day time burglary
A house on Liverpool Road, Birkdale, Southport was broken into yesterday afternoon (Friday 5 August).
A ktm 250 exc Motocross bike, along with a mountain bike was stolen
“The home owner who wishes to remain anonymous told OTSNews.co.uk “A girl arrived at 2:50pm to knock on the door, 3 minutes later three men arrive trying to get in the front door, 2 minutes later they jumped our side gates.
“They kicked our back door in, stole keys to open garage realising the motocross bike they were after was bolted down.”
“They then left for 40 minutes and returned with bolt cutters and left with bike at 3:50pm and Possible loaded into a white van.”
