Car Parking Confusion at Ainsdale Beach

Sefton Council closed Ainsdale beach for car parking on Thursday 20 March 2015 and was scheduled to re-open tomorrow, Tuesday 24 2015.

Many cars were spotted on the beach yesterday (Sunday) and today the sign on the gates outside informs the public that the beach should now be open.

OTSnews spoke with a person trying to enter Ainsdale beach who said:

“There seems to be some confusion around the current situation. I’m lead to believe that it has been closed due to the beach not having any lifeguards.

If this is not the case why is the beach not re-opened once the tide goes out”.
