Lazy council officers are being shamed by visitors to the town after the shocking state of a local Road was revealed.

Knob Hall Lane in Marshside has been described as a ‘patchwork quilt’ by shocked residents and visitors to the town for its incredibly poor state.

The road is littered with craters and potholes and has been dubbed a ‘car killer’ for its terrible road quality.

One visitor, Domenic from Lytham, was visiting the area for business and said “Southport is going downhill month by month now, it’s starting to be as neglected as Blackpool. Your council should be ashamed of themselves.”
