Car Blaze Southbank Road Southport

Firefighters were called to Southbank Road, Southport, at about 10:00pm tonight (Monday 16^th February 2015) following reports of a car fire.

They arrived on scene within minutes and quickly extinguished the blaze.

The vehicle caught fire at the junction of Cemetery Road and Southbank Road, Southport.

Two fire appliances are still on scene and an investigation is ongoing into the cause of the fire.
