Cancer patient ignored by Southport hospital bosses

A cancer patient at Southport Hospital says he has been left devastated by poor treatment and he is now being ignored by the Trust Chief.

James Smyth is a patient at Southport Hospital after being diagnosed with prostate cancer but says he has received shockingly poor treatment before and after his diagnosis.

James said:  “I have contacted the DGH on several occasions only to be fobbed off on receiving my diagnosis as positive.

“I was contacted by the CEO’s PA to inform me that my complaint would be investigated but the CEO is to busy to contact me personally and the conversation was terminated.”

“considering this man has an open letter to your readers asking how he is doing as the new CEO he and his staff are a disgrace and i feel he needs to be exposed.”
