Michael died suddenly on 27th December at home. He had not been ill or had any problems. He was out of work and his mum is registered disabled. She has been told that without funds the enviromental department take over with a cremation on the cheap. This would be his mums worst nightmare, to lose her son and then have him cremated against her will. We would like to ask family and friends for any help so that we can to raise enough money to give Michael the best possible send off we can.

David McAllister who set up the just giving page said: “Michael was not only my nephew, he was my godson. If I could afford it I would pay whatever it cost but it breaks my heart when I am not much better off than his mum.

Michael deserves to have a proper burial. We’ve been to cremations in the past and he has commented on not wanting that when he goes.

He was comical like his grandad and said just stick me in a box and bury me in the back yard. This is why it is so important for his mum that he has a proper burial.

So far £1,229 has been donated of the £3,000 target

How will the money if you donate?

All money raised will be used to pay the funeral. Also for the headstone. Anything thats left would be put in a trust fund for his 7-year-old son.
