Bars along Lord Street are doing an impressive trade today as patrons return to their favourite eateries and watering holes following months of lockdown

One patron at the busy Peaky Blinders bar remarked: “it’s absolutely beautiful to see everyone so busy and people enjoying themselves safely.”

“I was nervous about coming back into town but we have been made to feel safe and it’s the start of everything going back to normal.

“It’s a beautiful sight to behold.”
