Merseyside police were called to Senses Spa on Duke Street at around 9am on Saturday (December 5), following reports of an early morning break-in.

Spa owner Kate Harrison said: “We came in to open up as usual, and before I noticed the mess I remember it feeling really breezy. I looked up and soon found out why. The break in left us devastated!

“They took over £3000 of stock as well as the massive hole in the wall…All I can say is we are so lucky to have such lovely clients as they were all so supportive chipping in to help clean up and giving us kind words of advice!

“We have now placed an order to restock hair, beauty and nail supplies to restore senses spa back to its former glory! Thanks again for all of your support!”

Detectives are seeking CCTV from the area and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call Merseyside Police on 101 or the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
