During the evening of Sunday 8th September, officers responded to a report of Burglary in Fleetwood Road, Southport. A resident had disturbed a male who was attempting to break in to her garage.
The Suspect was initially detained by a neighbour, but managed to flee the scene prior to police arrival. Following an area search the Suspect was located nearby and arrested.
Following Interview; David Bigley, 39 yrs from Hesketh Bank, Lancashire was charged with Residential Burglary. He was remanded in Custody and is due to appear in Court tomorrow (10/09/19).
