A temporary closure of Brooms Cross Road is set to be in place for up to 18 working nights due to resurfacing works on the A5036 Dunningsbridge Road at Switch Island.

The work, which is being carried out by the Highways Agency, is scheduled to start on Monday evening (February 1). It will see a temporary closure of Brooms Cross Road between its junctions with the B5422, Brickwall Lane and A5036 Dunningsbridge Road from 8pm-5am, Sunday to Thursday nights and from 8pm-7am, Friday and Saturday nights.

The closure will only be in place on the evenings when the works directly affect the Brooms Cross Road.

Access will be maintained for the emergency services and where possible for residents.
