Broken church wall is an ‘ungodly sight’

Angry parishioners of a Lord Street Church are fed up of an unsightly broken wall.

Members of Christ Church Lord Street say they have been waiting months now for a broken pillar to be fixed.

The bricks, which were smashed down when they were struck by an overzealous driver trying to get out of the car park, are now being used to guard a massive trees stump in the church’s grounds.

The unsightly patchwork fix cobbled together is yet another terrible advert for the town.
