Britons got talent sensation at LOL Comedy Club Southport.

Andy Askins is an accomplished performer who has spent the past 15 years travelling the world as a professional musician.

He now performs regularly at The Comedy Store in both London and Manchester as well as at Jongleurs venues nationwide. He was also recently invited to join Dave Spikey (Peter Kay’s ‘Phoenix Nights’) as a special guest during his nationwide tour.

Andy has previously had the honour of working with Michael McIntyre, Lee Evans, Jason Manford, Alan Carr, Jimmy Carr, Micky Flanagan, Harry Hill, Rhod Gilbert, Bill Bailey and Jack Dee, to name a few stand-up luminaries. Andy performed his solo show “The Man With No Name” at the prestigious Edinburgh Festival for the first time in 2016 to rave reviews.

With a wickedly dry sense of humour, Andy’s darker material is sweetened by his innocent and impish demeanour which never fails to leave audiences in the palm of his hand. With impeccable timing, the inventive and quirky songs are peppered with inspired patter – the material is as strong as the songs and delivered in an inimitable modest and self-deprecating style.

On your TV screens, he has performed on the most recent series of The Comedy Store for Comedy Central, and two series of The World Stands Up, also for Comedy Central.

Jonny Awsum has exploded onto the professional comedy scene with a crowd-pleasing set that’s seen him smash thousands of gigs all around the world. With his likeable style and trusty guitar, Jonny’s musings include everything from the white lies he tells his girlfriend to his new home town of Croydon and the memory of his first love at eight years old.

Comfortable with any type of gig, Jonny’s feel-good set has captivated audiences at every kind of venue from pub back rooms to 700 seat theatres and he’s performed internationally from Cyprus to Slovakia, Austria to Hungary. Along the way he has become an award winning and reliably hilarious act!

The seasoned comic also is highly sought after for warming up TV audiences for a variety of shows including Big Brother and Loose Women, and has ably presented for Sky Sports and starred in numerous TV adverts for EDF, The Post Office and Samsung. Now to top it all off he was an absolute sensation on Britain’s Got Talent (ITV) where he made Ant & Dec join him on stage for once in a lifetime performance.

Rob Thomas is instantly likeable as a result of his down to earth demeanour and engaging tales of his own misfortune.

He’s one of those yarn spinning comics who will draw you in with his shaggy dog tales suddenly hitting you with a raft of unexpected punchlines.

His funnies end up reducing the whole crowd to hysterics. He is also a scouser. And lovably large and larger than life!

Wherever possible there’ll be comedians off the telly from such shows as BBC2’s Mock The Week, Shooting Stars, Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats, BBC1’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Have I Got News For You, QI, and Paramount’s Live at The Comedy Store.
