A Southport mum has made an appeal after her sons bike was stolen from outside Southport town hall, Saturday 31 October 2015.

“As my son was selling Poppies on Chapel Street in Southport today his black and blue Barracuda Draco bike was stolen from the bike lock stand from down the side of the steps of the town hall.

We have reason to believe it was taken not long after 10am this morning as the Sea Cadets selling poppies were meeting the Mayor and having their photo taken outside the town hall.

ots-town-hall-southportThe bike has its own unique frame number of VE90080476 and the crime has been reported to the police. Who will also be looking at the nearby CCTV footage.

Please can people be very cautious as it just goes to show how sneaky and cruel some people are.

As to the person who has taken it you have left my son devastated as you have stolen his recently new birthday present from him and at this moment in time I do not have the money to replace it for him”.

Please share and keep an eye out, anyone with information can call Southport police on 101.
