    Updated: Travellers take over Kew Park & Ride Southport

    Merseyside Police has been in attendance at the Kew Park &Ride, Southport following complaints from members of the public who wish to park their cars.

    It is understood that Sefton Council has issued a Section 77  under the Criminal Justice And Public Order Act 1994 – (served them notice).

     

    Both Kew Park & Ride Car Parks Packed out with Gypsy-Travellers, Southport

    Although faster and more effective enforcement powers have come into force regarding unauthorised Gypsy / traveller’s sites, it still hasn’t stopped a number of travellers setting up camp on Kew Park & Ride Southport.

    This was the state of play on Tuesday morning 21 June 2016.
