Bored Odd Job workers flood B&Q during Southport shutdown

22nd March 2020

A bizarre situation has risen out of self isolation in Southport.

Hundreds of bored shoppers have flooded B&Q to panic buy items to fix jobs around their homes because they can’t go to work.

Staff at the Kew Store have been forced to put in a one in, one out policy after queues became overwhelming and traffic at Kew Roundabout is backed up with motorists trying to get to the DIY store.

The bizarre situation is mirrored across other parts of the country as bored isolated workers turn to DIY to take their minds of the deadly Coronavirus.
