Late night trains and buses for boozers will be operating in the run-up to Christmas.
Arriva, Stagecoach and Merseyrail have teamed up to announce the services, with buses running on selected routes across the region and trains running from Liverpool to Southport.
From Friday, December 14 to Sunday, December 23, Friday and Saturday night bus ser- vices will run between midnight and 5am.
Meanwhile, on Friday nights/Saturday mornings December 14 and 21) and Saturday nights /Sunday mornings (December 15 and 22), trains will run a limited service from Liverpool Central to Southport, stopping only at Waterloo, Formby and South- port stations. Passengers will only be allowed to board services at Liverpool Central, it is a drop-off service only.
