Bonkers bikers risk their lives in race to class

A concerned Southport resident is asking for help in identifiying two daredevil students who sped past him while riding pillion on a ‘learner driver’ scooter.

The biker and his passenger, who was not wearing a helmet, were seen taking exorbitant risks as they travelled from Poplar Street, through Haig Avenue and Scarisbrick New Road, Southport before swerving into the car park of KGV.

A concerned resident snapped a photo of the duo as they drove past him dangerously. Pillion passengers, especially those not wearing helmets, are not allowed to ride on a scooter where the driver is only on a learner licence.
