Blaze at Church Of Christ Scientist Southport

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called to the First Church Of Christ Scientist on Lord Street West, Southport shortly after 6.30an this morning, Wednesday 5 October.

Fire fighters arrived to find the Church on fire. The fire was brought under control and an investigation has began as to the cause of the fire.

Merseyside Police officers were called to the scene at 6.55am and remain at the scene.
