British Transport Police are hunting a woman who put her life and others at risk after jumping a level crossing in Birkdale.
The woman, who is reportedly known to local authorities for previous issues, has been caught on camera breaking the law and putting lives in danger by crossing a live rail line and narrowly missing an oncoming train.
The incident happened yesterday on Augton Road and was caught on camera by concerned drivers who had stopped safely at the crossing.
British Transport Police are aware of the footage and an investigation has now been launched.
