Bitter Council chiefs put brexit celebrations on ice

Brexit champions say they are disgusted that the council won’t be hosting a celebration for Brexit Day.

January 31 marks the official date when the UK leaves the European Union but despite countless parties and celebrations across the isle, Sefton council have said they don’t want to get involved.

Now pro brexit supporters are slamming the council for ignoring the referendum and will of the people.

One said “it’s a disgrace they clearly don’t agree with the will of the people and don’t want to acknowledge their labour masters lost the vote and we won. We need a celebration and we call on the MP Damien Moore to host one on the steps of the town hall.”
