Birkdale school promises an end to a nursery new year hangover

By On The Spot News17th December 2020

In a response to current restrictions one local school is offering personalised covid safe visits for parents struggling to find a nursery place for their child in the new year.

People need only phone (568528) for an appointment.

St Teresa’s School offers free places for 3 year old for between 15-30 hours a week depending on circumstances. Parents can choose mornings, afternoons or a mix.

Recognising that many parents are having to deal with both childcare and a probable return to the workplace, the school runs a Wakeup/ Shake up Breakfast Club at 8-0 am. Parents who only qualify for 15 free hours may add extra hours at very little cost.

“We believe we have a pretty unique offer that meets spot on the current circumstances many local parents are facing,” says Chair of Governors, Sean Byrne.

The school has produced a video to explain its offer.https://tinyurl.com/y3pqlz9z
