Birkdale High teachers fire up classrooms to help nurses in need

Birkdale High School’s tech and woodwork team have been busy making personal protective gear.

The design and tech team at the Windy Harbour Road school have made a number of PPE equipment to protect carers and frontline nurses from their woodwork shop but need more equipment.

The school have asked for donations of laminating pouches, PVC roll, large elastic bands and sewing ribbon from residents in order to make more equipment.

Anyone who has any of these items is asked to speak directly to the school.
