Birkdale Craft Fair, Table Top & Vintage Sale – with Story Time

    By Pat Regan17th August 2022

This Saturday 20th August, starting at 10am until 3pm.

The venue is St Peters Church, St Peters Road, Birkdale, Southport, PR8 4BY.

Is your little one missing pre-school/nursery during the holidays?

    Story Time…

New to the fair is a short story time, with Cath (local stall holder) reading a selection of short stories/songs.

Your child can bring their own teddy bear or choice of soft toy to listen and bring the stories to life, something very magical and totally free! Ideal for pre-school and primary school age.

The story time event starts at 12 noon, and we please ask if the children can arrive 15 minutes before. Please note that parents must stay with their children.

We also will have our home-made playdough station and colour corner for your children to enjoy.

Hopefully following the success of this first story time, we will be able to make this a monthly event with themed stories. This Saturday the story is a popular one-We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.

Fetch your little ones and join us on our bear hunt story, songs, and sensory playdough. Then have a look at all Birkdale market’s beautiful hand crafted and unique items, for that special gift or treat. This market is on every month and not to be missed, and it supports local small businesses.

So put this event down in your diaries for the coming weekend.
