The stretch of the Coastal Road between Woodvale and Pontins has been temporarily closed this afternoon after a fire broke out in a council waste disposal vehice.
The road will remain closed until the vehicle has been recovered and the contents of the wagon cleared from the carriageway.
Diversions are in place.
