Bikers lucky to escape Coast Road crash with broken bones

13th October 2020

Emergency medical attention by quick thinking police officers have played a vital role in saving two bikers following a horrific crash on the Coastal Road.

Emergency services were called to the Marine Parade section of the coast road near to Pleasureland in the early hours of this morning after a biker and a second person, understood to be their pillion passenger, came off a motorbike after colliding with another vehicle

The smash caused both the biker and their passenger to fly off the bike and land on the nearby carriageway.

Police officers gave the pair emergency medical attention before handing over to first responder paramedics.

A police report from Merseyside police’s traffic team says that both casualties were lucky that they escaped the collision with just broken bones.
