The emergency services were called to Liverpool Avenue, Ainsdale, Southport, at 5:30pm tonight (Wednesday 25th February 2015) following an emergency call. A biker was involved in an accident along Liverpool Avenue just before Chapel House.
Members of the public went to the rider’s aid and comforted him until help arrived. Police were on scene within 15 minutes and it was at least 30 minutes before paramedics arrived.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
According to a witness at the scene the biker did not look to be in a serious condition
