Bike thieves working in Ainsdale

Suspected bike thieves are operating around Ainsdale it's been warned

Two males wearing sports bike helmets were caught and subsequently chased away from a set of mototrbikes parked in a residential driveway in a suburban part of Ainsdale earlier this afternoon.

The pair were watched as they surveyed the area, wrongly assuming they were away from prying eyes before trying to make off with an expensive motorbike around 4pm this afternoon.

However they were disturbed after being caught on film and made off without the bike.
