    Big Dessys Todd send off a testament for a true High Park legend

    Kelleigh and family would like to thank the hundreds that showed up to big Dessys service, most of which wearing denim – for the denim king.

    Daughter Kelleigh said: “This was a true testament for a true legend, thank you for all your cards love and just being their you gave him the send off he wanted”


    OTS News is saddened to report the death of well known Southport man Dessy Todd.

    Sad news hits Southport at the loss of High Park Legend Big Dessy Todd. He passed away on monday on 16th, September, age 63.

    Funeral to take place on Friday 27/09/19 – 12:40 at Southport crematorium. Family and friends welcome at The Richmond afterwards’.

    Des leaves behind his brothers Peter, John and Paul and his sisters Sharon and the late Shelagh and Lorna, his devoted wife and childhood sweetheart Jackie and his pride and joy, his children Kelleigh and Des, Grandchildren Joshua, Shannon Ryan Jordan Danielle Great Grandchildren George and the late Dolly-Therēse.

    Des lived in High Park and is known throughout generations for being the most funny, life loving man who was loved by many and everyone has a funny story to share, please leave your favourite memories to share the life of a true Legend.
