Photos sent in by an OTS Reader seem to confirm rumours that a takeover of the ex BHS building is imminent.
Businessmen were spotted in the former department store on Chapel Street today ahead of an imminent takeover which would see the four story asbestos filled building transformed.
OTS understands that in the last few months businessmen have discussed proposals for a number of projects including a hotel, food court complex and even a private indoor market to take advantage of the building's sprawling expanse.
Contracts officially handing over the building from a private landlord to a North West retail firm are expected to be signed in the coming weeks
