Bebe’s Hive take over old One Stop Shop building in heart of town centre

By On The Spot News11th September 2025

The team behind children’s grief counselling service Bebe’s Hive have unveiled their brand new town centre hub.

Bebe’s Hive, which was set up in memory of Bebe King, will take over the former Sefton Council One Stop Shop in Cambridge Arcade.

The building has set disused for a number of years when the council moved its one stop services to the nearby Atkinson.

Bebe’s mum and dad, Lauren & Ben King, said: “Since May, we’ve been quietly working behind the scenes and today, we can finally share the news.

“Bebe’s Hive will soon open its doors down Cambridge Walks, at the old Sefton Council One Stop Shop

“This location couldn’t feel more right. It sits close to some of Bebe’s favourite places – the library and The Atkinson, but also near the very spot where our community gathered to hold us in love after we lost Bebe, Elsie & Alice.

“It’s also next to the future Town Hall Gardens, a place full of hope and togetherness.

“The site has so much unlocked potential! It’s a big job ahead, but one we are ready to take on with love, determination, and the support of our Hiversz

“We owe huge thanks to Sefton Council for helping make this dream a reality, and to our incredible Bebe’s Hive core team, who have proven we are UNSTOPPABLE and determined to do good whatever gets put in our way.

But most of all – THANK YOU.

“Every donation, every tee worn with pride, every tote carried, every visit to our stalls, every fundraiser organised, every like, share, message and word of kindness – you’ve all played a part in giving us this safe, special home for little hearts who need it most.

“Please keep supporting us in whatever way you can – together, we’re building something that will truly last.

    “The fun starts now.

“We are so proud to be part of this community, and while these months are even harder to bear, we will always keep searching for light in the darkness.”
