Dog walkers and tourists are going to be fuming as council bosses close off beach parking this weekend.
The sunny weather is going to ring thousands of people to Southport and Ainsdale but Sefton Council bigwigs have said that they will be shutting the beach car parking.
Resident Lyn Hilton said: “Green Sefton are stating the closure of the beaches to parking Easter weekend! Yet again visitors to the town, on what promises to be a warm Easter weekend, will be bitterly disappointed.”
Furious residents have added that this is another disappointment from the council who keep making bizarre decisions.
