Yet again the town of Southport was chosen to stage BBC’s long running antique show “Antique Road Trip” and again John Nolan’s Antique Shop on Portland Street was the centre point.

The glamorous Christina Traevanion was the expert who visited John Nolan The Antiquesman’s shop to purchase antique items to sell at auction.

The whole morning was spent filming the show in Nolan’s shop which in the afternoon moved to Liverpool Football Club to film in the Kop. Preston Antique Centre is the next stop in the road trip on its way to Newcastle.

John Nolan told OTS News “In my opinion it was by far the best show I has been involved in.

“Nineteen different programs have visited my shop in the last few years and by coincidence two other BBC shows are aired this week on BBC1 that was filmed at my shop “Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is” with Paul Hayes from Morecambe 4.30 pm Wednesday 26th April & 4.30pm 27th Thursday.”
