Sad news at the weekend Terrance Murphy (Prince of Crossens) was playing for local team Devonshire FC and was on the receiving end of a bad challenge from behind, the game was stopped for one hour whilst the ambulance arrived to rush him off to hospital.
Terry now has to wait a week before being operated on for a broken tibula and fibula and damaged ligaments.
Devonshire’s player manager Craig Johnson said:
“We are all gutted for Terry, he will be missed, all the wish terry a very speedy recovery”
